At Ultracera, innovation is driven by necessity, not just business strategy. The journey began over 30 years ago when our founder started his own stone company with a focus on processing and exporting high-quality materials. By 2010, his company expanded into quartz countertop production to meet growing demand. But as production scaled up, so did the challenges—harsh chemicals, overwhelming dust, and serious health concerns for his family members working in the factory.

The founder found himself at a crossroads, struggling to balance the profitability of his business with the well-being of his loved ones. It became clear that the only way forward was to find a solution that was both safe and sustainable.

During a family visit, his nephew, a PhD in materials science, heard about the challenges and decided to take on the task of developing a safer, more environmentally-friendly material. After years of research and collaboration, they succeeded in creating Ultracera in 2018: a revolutionary, clay-based, eco-friendly surface that meets market needs while prioritizing health and safety.

Ultracera represents more than just a product. It’s the result of personal frustration, a sharp eye for opportunity, and the courage to build a solution that could change the industry. It is proof that true innovation doesn’t always come from boardrooms—it often comes from within, driven by passion and a relentless pursuit of progress.
